14th Annual Wheel Run Together

One of our favorite events each year is the Wheel Run Together 5k & 10k race hosted by the GVSU Physical Therapy students. This year’s event was held on Saturday April 17 and contributed  $8,200 to Alternatives in Motion. This was the most successful Wheel Run Together in history!

Nearly 200 athletes attended this event that has been contributing to Alternatives in Motion for the last 12 years. Money raised from this year’s event brings the total contribution from the Wheel Run Together to over $55,000.

On behalf of our staff, Board of Directors, volunteers, and wheelchair recipients we would like to extend a special thank you to race coordinators Sarah Holland and Katie Botting, as well as the entire GVSU Physical Therapy Class of 2011.
