(Grand Rapids, MI) On Wednesday September 13, 2006 golfers of all skill levels will tee off at Thousand Oaks Golf Club in Grand Rapids, MI to swing for mobility with Johnnie Tuitel and Alternatives in Motion.
The second annual “What’s Your Handicap?” Golf Classic is a four-person scramble starting promptly at 1:00p.m. All proceeds from this event will benefit Alternatives in Motion, a local nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization, founded by Tuitel, whose mission is to provide wheelchairs to people who cannot afford them and do not qualify for financial assistance.
Registration is only $125.00 per person for 18 holes of golf w/ a cart and dinner following the event. Golf Digest has rated Thousand Oaks and its Rees Jones signature course "4 ½ stars Places to Play" and one of the 25 best golf courses in Michigan. For more information visit www.thousandoaksgolf.com

Over the last 10 years Alternatives in Motion has raised $1.3 million dollars and has placed over 650 wheelchairs to individuals throughout the United States. If there are further questions regarding this event, please call Matt Chapman or George Ranville and the numbers listed above.
