6th Annual "What's Your Handicap?" Golf Classic

It’s hard to believe but the 6th Annual “What’s Your Handicap?” Golf Classic has come and gone. 61 golfers participated in this year’s event that generated $11,573 for Alternatives in Motion!
Golfers enjoyed several great events both on and off the golf course. The majority of the participants tried their luck on the 6th hole for a shot at a $10,000 hole-in-one cash prize. When they weren’t shooting for a hole-in-one, golfers lined up on the putting green to qualify for a 40ft. put for $5,000. Larry Spencer, long time Alternatives in Motion Board member and supporter, qualified for the potentially profitable putt but gave it a little too much juice sending the ball past the hole.
Inside during dinner, golfers were busy bidding one of the nine great silent auction packages. There was a flurry of bids at the last second of the silent auction as two of our supporters both desperately wanted to win the day trip to Mackinac Island aboard a private airplane. The trip ended up selling for whopping $2,501.00 that went directly to Alternatives in Motion!
Once again we were blessed by a wonderful day with friends and supporters. As we wrap up this year’s event we are already looking towards the future and will announce the date of the 7th Annual “What’s Your Handicap?” Golf Classic as soon as it becomes available.
