A Prayer Answered

At one point in time Carol was faced with some difficult mobility issues. She did not have the funding to help herself obtain a new wheelchair and was ordered by her doctor to stop walking. She didn’t know what to do until she visited with Major Lanham from her local Salvation Army. Major Lanham told Carol to put her trust in God. They held a prayer service one Sunday afternoon and on Monday morning Alternatives in Motion received a call from an individual selling a chair in Carol’s town. 

Through the local police chief we were connected with Carol and answered her  prayers just a few days later.  The chief delivered the wheelchair to Carol and worked closely with staff from the Salvation Army to build a ramp to get the chair into her house. A recent letter from the police chief said, “I wanted to let you know that Carol was smiling a big old grin for the first time in a long time and you are a huge part of her smile. You should feel comforted knowing the Lord worked his magic through you and the rest of us.”
